Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University
CoreComm PR has worked with the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies for several years providing a variety of communications services from media relations to the development of collateral materials. We have publicized many high-profile events and gained local and national attention for the school’s events including a statewide Trauma Forum series, Georgia’s Aging Population Conference, a visit by the President of Rwanda and more.

Creative Cooling
Creative Cooling, the maker of the collegiate branded Coola Can refrigerator, turned to CoreComm’s expertise to introduce the product to the marketplace. We helped Creative Cooling create the overall look and feel of their marketing collateral materials, provided media relations to trade and national consumer media outlets, and provided overall communications counsel and support.


Epps Aviation
As one of the nation’s leading independent fixed-base operations, Epps Aviation turns to CoreComm PR to raise awareness of their brand on the local, national and industry levels. On behalf of Epps, CoreComm PR provided local media assistance for the National Business Aviation Association Convention in 2007. We also helped to raise awareness of the aviation industry and history in Georgia during the state Centennial of Flight.

GILA Window Film
GILA Window Film is produced by CPFilms, a division of Solutia. For four years, CoreComm PR provided national media relations for GILA, the leading DIY window film brand in the U.S. We’ve garnered attention for the brand’s heat control, decorative and automotive lines. As a direct result of CoreComm’s work, articles touting the benefits of window film have appeared in local and national media outlets including news syndicates, national Morning Shows, syndicated home improvement shows and more.

For the introduction of GILA’s Decorative Window Film to the media, CoreComm developed a creative press kit that effectively communicated the many uses of the film. We also developed creative alternative uses for decorative window film and enlisted TLC Trading Spaces star, Laura Day, as spokesperson for the campaign.
CoreComm received two MarComm Creative Awards for work with GILA Window Film.

The Partnership in Reform for Science and Mathematics (PRISM)
CoreComm PR helped launch a statewide awareness campaign for The Partnership for Reform in Science and Mathematics, an initiative of the University System of Georgia. As part of the communications team, CoreComm PR’s activities included launching a public awareness program, statewide media relations, media training for high level University System personnel, press kit development and more. Our work won a MarComm Creative Award for the press kit we developed on behalf of PRISM.

Sciele Pharma
Sciele Pharma tapped CoreComm PR to promote Nitrolingual Pumpspray, used to manage angina, in St. Louis, MO. We teamed up with an advertising agency strategic partner to create a comprehensive marketing strategy. The public relations components included media relations and community relations. CoreComm PR enlisted St. Louis’ own ShapeUpMom and author, Kathryn Sansone, as a spokesperson for Nitrolingual Pumpspray. We also developed an informational tent for three high-profile community events to directly reach out to the target market.

Speckhals & Cora PC
For Speckhals & Cora PC, CoreComm PR has gained local publicity on the issue of prescription error. Trent Speckhals, attorney and consumer advocate, has been interviewed by the Atlanta Journal Constitution and WSB television regarding tips for avoiding such errors and the impact of the decisions of legal cases he has won. The publicity has helped gain wide recognition of the firm and its attorney’s as leaders in the area of malpractice and an advocate for consumers. Hopefully the coverage has saved some lives as well.


Troy-Peerless Lofts
In a market flooded with lofts and condominiums, CoreComm PR was able to help one building stand out from the rest. Homes in this historic former laundry building in Atlanta’s Fourth Ward District entered the market the same time that the market took a downturn. We were able to garner media attention that helped sell residences that would keep the building’s developers and new home owners all happy.
